Find Local Recycling Center in Your Neighborhood: Earth911.com is a one-stop web site that gives you up-to-date information about how you can reduce the trash you generate, how to reuse what you've got, and how to recycle items you no longer need. A zip code search puts you in contact with the nearest recycling centers that will take your cast-offs. There is also good background information on the type of recyclables that took a lot of work and research to coordinate. I especially like the simple interface with the option of clicking on a tab that will give you customized local information. My one suggestion for improvement is expanding their local databases. I was not able to find any locations in my area that took old eyeglasses, although I know that several exist.
