Social Networking meets Social Entrepreneurship: This site is brilliant! Gone are the days of writing a check to an organization and having no idea where that money goes. Kiva.org allows you to loan directly to people in the third world (with a picture and personal story to provide a more intimate connection) and you can track their progress with their personal projects as they pay you back. Once they pay you back you can use that money to loan to someone else or you can withdraw the money using PayPal. Truly a great site that makes the world more connected.
