Sometimes overshadowed by the better known Google Docs, the online Zoho Office Suite has a ton of products and features. Zoho Writer is the one I use the most, and it regularly out-performs Google Docs. Zoho Writer boasts flawless collaboration tools, version histories, complex formatting, support for almost any file format, and offline support through Google Gears. For my money, Zoho Writer is the best online word processor on the web -- and it's free.
