Carbon Copy Cloner is an incredible free software to clone, synchronize, and backup your hard drive data. I used the software to create an exact backup of my old hard drive when upgrading to a new hard drive in my MacBook. I simply connected the new hard drive via USB, installed the software and ran the backup, then placed the new hard drive into my laptop and rebooted. Everything was identical to before (including all my data and operating system settings)! I am very pleased and have already recommended CCC to my friends. Thanks.
