They have become increasingly commercial and annoying with the free service. You must now log in every 30 days instead of letting you have static DNS which expire over longer periods of time. I don't see the value added, just lost: I have to click more to get the same service, the advertised items are pushed but have no real value, and they reduced the free services offered.
It's been good, DynDNS, but the writing seems to be on the wall. I wish you the all the best for the future!
