Everything I.T., and a bit more: The Register (El Reg, to afficionados) brings an irreverent, often bombastic but frequently entertaining approach to reporting on technology and the societies using it. Most articles invite comments, and these vary from the incisive and insightful (mine) to the witless and woeful (you know who you are). Comments are moderated with a rod of iron, and overstepping the mark will land you with a verbal whipping that leaves marks for a fortnight.
