E-Trade Financial - Not Sure What I Am Paying to Trade: This website gave me a lot of information and reasons why I should use the site, but really doesn't give me the complete tools to make it easy to invest online. First off, the pricing per trade that is displayed boldy on the front page only applies to certain account holders, so I had to dig to find out what the requirements are for the lower priced trading. Then ther was a reference made that broker assisted transactions would be charged a $45 fee but I couldn't figure out what would be considered "broker assisted." Also, this sort of site would appeal to an active investor, probably many day traders, yet there is no easy access to current market quotes, which means I would have to toggle to another site to get current pricing and then toggle back to make my trade. It would be better to have that all on one easily accessible page or dashboard. Overall opinion, the jury is still out on this one, I think the trades are probably very easy to execute, I just don't know how much I am going to pay for each.
