This city gal just moved to the country in Missouri earlier this year. Living in Las Vegas and living in mid-Missouri is a culture shock for sure. But I love it. The list of happy things here is long, but here are just a few of them: many species of wild birds, having a flock of our own chickens (29 hens, 8 roosters) that we raised ourselves from just a few days old, our new guinea chicks (2 1/2 weeks old) beauty of green plants and trees, winter time and snow (love it!), seeing deer every night on the back of our property, other wildlife, even Armadillos and much more has made it awesome to live here.
