Validates the Need for Understanding: Christine Miserandino understands what is't like to be young and look health but feel terrible underneath. Her site is fantastic and her Spoon Theory has become one of the most well-known descriptions for those with chronic illness. I am the founder of National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week and Christine's enthusiasm, skill, and passion have helped make this week very successful each September. I love her site, but as a friend, I just love her! (Even though we've yet to meet "in person.")
