Not exactly like the TV ad...: You may recall LendingTree's humorous TV ads, where desperate bankers await nervously to see who the empowered couple will choose as their lender.
It turns out that that's not exactly how it works. As part of the application process, you're required to provide a telephone number. By pressing the "submit" button, you will effectively release the hounds who will proceed to call and email you incessantly. Once it starts, there's no way to stop.
