Cool site with green tips for fashion, adults and kids: Inhabitat is a green blog with articles that are meant to help the green consumer become more informed and more effective by supplying information about green products and housing options. They feature articles on organic clothing and green fashion. They also have a lot of information about gadgets and green conventions. The site also includes a section for kids to learn about being green. This is a really cool site, the only problem is that some of the photographs on the site seem to be out of focus or at a low resolution. Otherwise, this is a wonderful site with a lot of great information about living green.
Not a very full on site : Now, I dont know if it's me or the site, but I'm not too sure I like it. It shows great structures, but they look costly and from reading the artcles, are costly. I would like to see more natural habitats on this website. More homes and businesses made from earth material. I do however, like the articles on the shipping container homes and the childrens products. I would like to see more hands on material from this website.
Good Resource for Sustainable Building Materials: One thing that is becoming more and more apparent as time goes on is that there are only a limited number of resources on this planet, and we need to use the ones that we have in the most efficient and responsible manner possible. That is where Inhabitat comes in. It has information about organic food, fashion, and building designs. It has articles on rooftop gardens, green building techniques and materials, even ecologically friendly electronics. It makes us realize just what there is out there that we can do in order to live the life we want to live without damaging the environment or wasting resources.
