Good bank site with just the right amount of information: This is a good bank web-site. It is very specific in where it sends you depending on what you are looking for. There isn't a lot of clutter (no misplaced adds or off topic information); this makes the site easy to use and easy to navigate. I like the communication information at the bottom of the pages, it makes is seem like they don't actually mind talking to you if you have questions. Too many companies make it hard to communicate these days and this one doesn't. If I had to complain about something it would be that the site makes you click through a lot of different choices before you get to the specific place you want to be. This is a little thing and I am sure that it helps people find exactly what they are looking for, but it feels a little like a survey with a lot of sub categories. I don't feel that this is a real problem, only a little slower way of getting to where you want to be. I like this site, it offers exactly what you need/want without all the interruptions from adds, or misplaced information.
INGdirect Presents Perfect, Easy-to-Navigate Site: INGdirect.com is the online banking portal for both current and potential INGdirect customers. The first thing you notice is the eye-catching and simple orange, blue and white home page, which really attracts your attention and draws you in. You are presented with three distinct choices; view your account, open an account or learn more. There are three other informational buttons, but the site is not cluttered with a lot of extraneous information, and I like that a lot. I also like that the other pages of the site have very clear choices. This is one of the easiest online banking sites to navigate that I have seen.
My only suggestion for improvement would be adding a "Search" button on the front page. INGdirect banking customers should be very pleased with this site.
