MSN Money Site Provides Important Information for Today's Economic Climate: This web site provides comprehensive, up-to-date news, information and advice about personal finance issues, including current stock market quotes. Whether you are looking for information about banking, investing, planning for college or retirement, MSN Money Central has a wealth of data and articles that are organized into specific categories. I like this site because it is designed for the average person who does not have a lot of background in personal finance. Everything is written clearly and concisely without a lot of financial jargon. It is easy to find topics of interest and gives some good tips for keeping your money safe and working for you. In addition, the home page contains interesting stories that are pertinent to what is happening with today's economy. The one thing I don't like about the site is its cluttered appearance. In trying to get everything of interest on the home page, it appears a bit overwhelming!
MSN Money: your portal to the world of personal finance and investing: MSN Money is an excellent gateway to the world of personal finance and investing where you can keep up with the markets and news from the world of business and investing. Within the website you will also find commentary and advice from some of the best financial minds in business, investing, and personal finance. MSN Money's coverage is thorough, comprehensive, and appeals to a broad audience. A drawback to providing such a wide range of content is that navigating through the site can be difficult. My favorite feature of MSN Money is their timely commentary on the markets.
MSN Money Offers Updated Information for Everyday People: I like this site very much and have it bookmarked in my favorites and refer to it several times a day. I like the fac that it provides good useful information for everyday people and yet it's not the same cookie-cutter articles that are so prevalent on many websites. It provides good insightful analysis of what is happening in the US markets as well as around the world. But it also brings this information close to home and shows the average person how to incorporate into our daily budgeting, cost-cutting and investing. I particularly like Jubak and his picks - straight, no-nonsense advice plus he gives full disclosure as to what is in his portfolio and how his past picks have performed. The downside is that I don't see a place where I can enter a symbol and get a current individual stock quote.
