Share your stuff and save the planet.: I love Freecycle. Through this website I found a local Freecycle group. I had a couch and chair that I wanted to give to someone who might need them. I posted them on the website and got lots of replies. The very next day someone came and picked up the furniture. The whole idea of Freecycle is to recycle your stuff in order to keep it out of the landfill. One time I had a box of stationary supplies, and another I had some packing boxes I was finished with. It's so satisfying being able to pass those along.

Good site for infomation on Freecycle and groups near you: I like the site because it gives information in every aspect about the group including the mission statement, sources of funds, sponsors, and history. The site, in a nutshell, basically gives information about Freecycle, provides a search engine to find groups near you, and allows you to browse and donate. Each part of the site (ex. \u2018about freecycle') has several links and is very detailed. Although the search engine does a great job of finding groups, the search could be narrowed a bit. For example, when I searched my home town, it brought up several groups that were three to four hours away from me. Overall, the site does it's job of giving detailed information to the viewer.
