I went to Marapets after I left Neopets totally disgusted about many things. I was a user there for 5 years. The SPAM in the Neoboards, the preference over certain users (yes TNT has preferred users they'd never freeze for the eternity of Neo), reporting problems that were never taken care of and even reported troublesome users that were spamming and scamming people out of their items (one of them username is owniij, the "kind strangers" she speaks about is all the children she scammed out of their items, she tried to scam my children offering a abominable snowball on 4 codestones). Marapets is NOT like that, my reports always got responded to, items I lost due to glitches were restored, the site had a hacker attack once and EVERYONE's account was restored and items were recovered. In neopets you lose an item to a glitch, they say "oops" (yes look in the editorial about a mistake they made with the Stone Side Table name, they had two items with the same name!) nobody ever got their items or neopoints back. On top of the fact that Marapets is way better, the games are better, making marapoints is a lot easier! Neopets has gotten hacker attacks many times, the misfired lab ray was AD0 a hacker who went into their database (google it) they said it was a glitch in the lab, so not true!
BTW: I AM NOT a frozen user, my account is there and everything. So this has nothing to do with me being a loser who "cheated and got frozen for it", it comes from a 32 year old adult who got sick of the scams and unfair things in that site!
Neopets; : Wow, Neopets is amazing.
It taught me HTML/CSS, it started me to roleplay (which made my grade in writing high rocket), it also taught me economics.
It's amazing I'll leave it at that.
