Northwest Airlines Reservations Made Easy: I am a frequent user of this site and find it to be very useful when trying to search for flights, the best airfare and to make reservations. I make all NWA resrvations online through this site because it is very easy to use plus it integrates my frequent flier account so that I can search for free flights as well. This site will also allow you to choose your seat for upcoming flights and to check in online, bypassing the long lines at the airport. The only negative I have about this site is that when searching for flights, you have to choose an outbound flight before it will display the available return flights. The toggling back and forth can get confusing and I would rather see both outbound and return flights listed on one page. Overall this is a very helpful site for frequent Northwest Airline passengers.

northwest airlines - decent place to start your holiday... well the flight at least: The northwest airline web-page is beautiful. Excellent use of colors and the provided space. The design is very clear and the website is easy to use and concise.

The top down menus go to two levels of nesting which I personally think is a bit too much for any website. However it is done nicely and works on my chrome browser.

What I like about this airline website is that it has not over advertised the hotels and other packages they offer. It is clear that it is a website for an airline not an online travel agency.

The on aspect that bothered me was the fact that they don't use dynamic client side interactions to auto complete the city entry for the flight search form.

Does what it is intended to do: The Northwest Airlines site allows you to book your flight online. It isn't an exciting site and there is no reason it should be. It does what it is intended to do and does it pretty well. It is easy to enter dates and find flights and compare rates for different options. I did find it difficult to locate the "small print" about refunds, various fees for changing dates, etc. which is annoying but unfortunately not unusual. The home page also offers the green traveler a link to information about purchasing carbon offsets. As an environmentally concerned flyer, I appreciate that I didn't have to search around for that info.
