Truely awesome - realtime planetarium on your screen. Raining outside? See what you would have seen! Discovered this when I was looking for info on this year's perseid meteor shower. Nearly fell off my bean-bag when Stellarium showed me a few shooting stars - where they ACTUALLY were when I went outside!!! Great for beginners, lapsed enthusiasts and even more serious users. Like having Patrick Moore next to you
