great program: As a long time Microsoft Money user this program does a wonderful job. It has picked up unauthorized attempts to use my account and keeps me advised as to things happening to my account. As a senior it acts like my mother . Wonderful
Simple, Free, Powerful!: Mint.com provides a fantastic and hands off approach to managing your personal finances. Once your accounts are setup, all transactions are automatically entered and all you have to do is simply categorize and view budget graphs. The iPhone app helps to monitor your account status while on the go. Literally the only negative thing you may hear about Mint.com is that not every single bank in the world is available but they are adding new ones regularly. Personally, I would switch banks in order to use Mint.com - it's that powerfully simple to get a grasp on your finances.

Exactly what I need... almost.: For years I wondered when someone would provide a service that let me have a high-level view of ALL my assets, across all my accounts. When Mint came along, I thought it would be just the thing! But sadly, they still don't provide access to all my 401k accounts, and their support for loans is still primitive. But it's a great start... hope they get there soon!
Useful site, but I worry about security: I've been using Quicken for years. When I heard of Mint, I gave it a try and liked it. My biggest concern is: how secure are they? I trust Mint, but I worry about security breaches that may cause my data (and yours) to be lost. For now I'm sticking with them. They've had lots of great press and have been professional and courteous in responding to my questions.
Good money saving ideas; great blog too: Mint has already saved me hundreds of dollars by convincing me to switch my home phone provider - sweet! Not all my friends have had the same experience though, so Mint's money saving recommendations don't always work. A hidden gem about this site is that their blog is quite interesting. It's not just a blog about new features or company announcements, but contains interesting stories in the money arena.
Makes tracking easy enough to be useful: I tried using Quicken years ago but quickly abandoned it. The main issue was that I had to manually pull my transactions off my bank's website and add them to Quicken. Mint's major upgrade is that it automatically updates all my accounts for me. I also like that I can access it from anywhere and not be tied to one computer. The ease has made it possible for me to actually track my money, instead of just hoping that one day I'll be grown up enough to do so.
