Great source for Green articles: The Ecofriend site provides dozens of free articles to users on a variety of topics, all with the underlying theme of going green. Featured articles include Eco gadgets (solar powered study light, solar powered concept phone, and a solar pot that recharges old batteries), eco architecture, eco tech, and eco cars. Through this site, users can make themselves familiar with what projects are in progress to help society go green. Users can even use these projects to apply to their own lives to help make themselves more environmentally friendly. The site does a good job of titling articles so the user can selectively choose which ones they want to read. It also provides a great range of pictures which is very appealing. The majority of articles are very well cited and seemingly credible, articles are very recent also. One complaint is the majority of the articles are solar based, not a lot of variety.

Ecofriend.com Highlights New Gadgets and Products: Ecofriend.com is an environmental blog with an alternative energy theme. Keeping that in mind, this blog presents its readers with the latest and greatest gadgets, products and trends that fit in with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The news items on this site concentrate on products or services that are unique and different, ranging from rainwater harvesting systems to solar powered battery charges. The accompanying photographs are large and clear, showing that the blog's designers took great care to keep a tight focus on their subject matter. I liked the clean simplicity of the blog and the excellent photos. One thing that was a bit distracting was there was too much scrolling on the home page. It was way too long.
