I have to use this site for work but I hate it! They are so stingy with the credits and take credits away from you. Also it has the worst customer service

Love it. Rely on it. They've turned stock purchasing on its head.

Too Expensive: For royalty free stock by primarily amateurs, iStockPhoto is really too expensive. Their crafty pricing prevents you from buying just a few credits, guaranteeing that you'll be forced to come back for more or lose your money all together. Buying credits in smallish quantities means you pay around $1.50 per credit, so most vector images cost around $22.50. Thanks to their pricing scheme, you can't get out for under $36, though, since you have to buy 2 sets of 12 credits to get the 15 you need. Really? I'll just go get less over-used right-managed work for a few bucks more.

For what it's worth, iStockPhoto has some pretty awesome search options. Too bad they don't help you find what you need if you are needing something inexpensive.

iStockphoto: Great WEB2 experience, and great support to all users, the site is continuously fixed in every pixel!
