Good service often very poor results when it comes to finding the best priced ticket (sadly no-one else is any better).

National Rail Enquiries: The comprehensive information on railway stations, journeys and fares is unparalleled, and brings the franchisees' websites to shame with the clarity. Furthermore, it has an gloriously simple and unambiguous identification system, using three-letter codes for each railway station, something woefully underused by the aforementioned franchisees on their websites and when communicating with customers.
Nevertheless, the tendency for sessions to timeout can render the experience cumbersome, especially in complex search requests and the like. Furthermore, the presentation of the information is not always optimal, especially since there is no option to toggle the display of the calling points for all the displayed train services simultaneously in the journey planner, thus rendering life difficult when one must needs differentiate between different speeds of service with the same destination. The pocket timetable feature, whilst it is useful, could be improved if the limit on the number of departure and arrival points displayed (presently three each) were to be raised.

Very professional UK traveling website!: Sometimes you can be surprised when approaching a europe or asian website. Not this one, if I didn't know any better I would have thought it was an American website. A very professional set-up and search. Easy to navigate. One thing I didn't particularly like is content overload once you navigated away from their home page. I clicked on passenger services and was bombarded by a lot of information right away. I prefer it to be simple and neat, let me get where I am going then deliver me my information. Keep it simple! Overall I would use this site if I ever were to travel in the U.K. Seeing as it is the best source of transportation, and I am a savvy internet user, it would be a win-win vacation!
