Negotiator: I loved using Priceline's negotiator feature. I was able to submit a reasonable price that I was looking for and they helped me find a deal on flights that I could afford. Priceline is great for last minute booking when it seems like everyone else wants to raise prices on the last few seats on the plane. Their responses to negotiations are quick and fair based on the regular airfares.

Why else would you choose any other, he is the rocket man: Common, Priceline.com has been at the for front of cheap deals, destinations, and travel arrangements since I can remember. If it is good enough for William Shatner then I am sold. The guy has been all over the universe already. But seriously if you are looking for the best travel accommodation at the most affordable price, this should be your first destination. You should seek out new places to see and boldly save money for your further endeavours once you reach your destination. The only thing I would change about this site would be the color scheme, a little too much blue. Other than that it is so easy to navigate and plan my trips, I would not travel without it!

Priceline the dysfunctional travel website: The design of this website is good. It looks really nice and professional with the right links at the right places. However the functionality fails miserably. (I use Google chrome browser by the way)
First the search form did not provide default values then it did not even help auto complete my city entries for the flight form. Very disappointing. Then after I searched for London it gave me some flights from American cities named London, however the website pointed out that if I need flights from London-UK I should click on a link which I did. This link took me to hotel reservations in London instead of flights.

The auto complete feature seems to be working for American cities which is good but nowhere on the website does it indicate whether this website is only for Americans or if it is a world wide website.

All in all I wouldn't recommend or use this website personally.

Priceline Saves Money with Deep Travel Discounts: Priceline.com is one of the world's premier discount travel web sites, offering incredible deals on airfare, hotels, cruises, rental cars, attractions and more. This site allows the user to enter in details about an upcoming trip, including day and time of departure and destination city, and Priceline.com will come back with various travel options from which to choose. You can also "Name Your Own Price," where you enter in how much you are willing to pay, and Priceline will see if they can find you a flight, hotel, rental car or other service that will accept your bid. This terrific and reliable site with many satisfied customers allows you to have total control over your travel itinerary. I like the simple and uncluttered interface and the links to Zagat's city guides, which are helpful when planning trips to larger metropolitan area. My only complaint is that Priceline.com is not that good about finding deals to smaller or less-traveled-to rural areas.

PriceLine.com: On PriceLine, you can make travel arrangements and purchase airline tickets, hotels, car rentals and more. A unique aspect of this site is that if you have flexibility in your schedule, you can make an offer for the price you want to pay. PriceLine will let you know if your offer is accepted and will get you the travel within stated parameters. You may also purchase travel using the more traditional model of shopping the offerings and prices set by the suppliers. I like that you have both ways of making the purchase. I wish they would provide more information before you buy.
