This is one of the best sites out there for booking flights. love the way it lets you put in more open ended search criteria so you can find, for example, the cheapest day to fly that month, or the cheapest time of day to fly. In my experience it finds every flight available in Europe. Outside of Europe, it's not quite there yet (worldwide searches are new), but if it gets as good as the more local flights, it'll be the only site to use if you're booking flights to anywhere in the UK. Don't bother with any other flight sites, use this one and let it find you the cheapest way to fly.

Doesn't find everything but gives good guidelines. A good resource, generally.

A good GUI interface to book airline tickets.: This website looks similar to all the airline booking website except the MAP feature. This feature is really interactive and go easy for booking tickets.
I also see wide options available for the itenary to be booked. No airlines are hidden or missed in the search. The disadvantage i see in this website is the keyboard interface in the source and destination combo boxes. I need to scroll on fully to select the country rather than it doesnt move on the press of the alphabets(feature available in curency combo box).

What about roundtrips?: Skyscanner is streamlined and the site is attractive - I liked the instant popup, fast results and live fares. But it seems to be missing a few things. First of all, separate fares were shown for each one-way trip. On one hand that allows users to select best fares for each journey; on the other hand, most people travel with the same airline both ways, so it's pointless. Second - I found cheaper fares (including taxes) from other price-aggregator sites, and Skyscanner seems to be missing a few airlines. For instance, United Airlines was conspicuously absent.

skyscanner the flight comparison site, delivers ok but not excellent: Having used skyscanner in the past to look for flights, I have realized that it does a good job at entering default values for the search criteria which is quite nice.

Also it has a "whole month" link which allows you to manually select the cheapest flights or compromise the way you want.

However looking for some destination it failed to bring me the cheapest alternatives out there. So I was disappointed with the fact that it didn't return results from more airlines in order to deliver a cheaper price.

However it seems that skyscanner acknowledges the fact that it is not perfect and places links to other travel websites such as expedia. So basically all the customers will navigate away from their website.
