Great site to use as a resource for more environmentally friendly products: I like this site because it is well organized and having National Geographic as a sponsor makes the credibility go up for the average user. The site is a guide to using more environmentally friendly products in everyday life. It provides alternatives in categories such as personal care, kids, travel \u0026 transportation, and food. I like that it is organized into categories rather than having a litter of links and pages on the main page. The pictures are very appealing and make the site look more professional and credible. For someone who is using the site for the first time, they may have to click around a bit to realize the purpose of the site. Perhaps a mission statement or quote would be appropriate on the main page.
Everything You Need to Live Green: If there is anything that you want to know about how to live Green then The Green Guide, a National Geographic Website is a great place to find what you are looking for. It has information for the home, your health, your kids health, transportation, and even your pets. While there are lots of great tips and amazing articles of simple things that can be done to live green, the website requires the Flash player so it cannot be surfed without it. That plus a lack of a community forum for member content is also a weak point. I love that, especially with the home, it makes it easy to find things, and you can even go room by room to find what you are looking for.
