Travelocity the growth to perfection: Travelocity has improved a lot gradually over the past few years. It has a nice and simple, clean design. It is fast.

It fills in most default values for you which is good. However it does not fill in your departure location even though it asks you to select your country prior to entering the website.

The animated gif is at the bottom which is good, because most people hate moving objects on web pages.

The customer support telephone is all over the website which gives users a sense of security.

It has a section for the eurostar as well which is a great idea. However what I think it is lacking is showing the alternative options to the user so for example when a user searches for london to paris flights the website should also suggest the eurostar train and give user the journey time of the two(flight vs. train) so the user might change his/her mind.

Travelocity Has the Whole Package: Searching for airline on flights on Travelocity is nice and easy because it will identify all available airline flights, their departure time, pricing and even their on-time percentages. What I really like is that it also displays how many seats are left at the specified price. This is very helpful if there are travel companions who will want to fly together but may be making separate reservations. It would be disappointing to have the flight sold out and your companion shut out of the flight. I also liked the fact that Travelocity automatically puts together packages which includes hotels at various pricepoints. This saves me a lot of time trying to find accomodations in cities that I am not familiar with and navigate multiple hotel sites to compare rates and amenities. The only downside is that the flights are displayed lowest cost to highest, and I didn't see an option to sort by morning, afternoon, or evening flights. Definitely a good site to pull together all the various pieces of your vacation plans.

Best Travel Website: I used Travelocity for all of my travels. For my honeymoon, I booked fliights, car rentals, and a cruise through them. I was able to get great seats, great cars, and beautiful rooms at fantastic prices. Booking through Travelocity saved me a lot of legwork and time and even more importantly, a lot of money. No one compares to the ease and flexibility of Travelocity.
