United.com the professional online airline and travel agency: The design of this website is perfect. Excellent drop down menus allows for nicer layout by categorizing and reducing the number of links all over the page.
The coloring scheme is very nice in terms of the color selections and consistency across the whole website.
The only thing bad about this website is that it does not have the auto complete feature when entering the departure/destination city which is an industry standard feature across all online travel agencies and airline websites nowadays.
United Airlines professional look from top to bottom.: Obviously United Airlines has a professional looking website. It is what you would expect from a billion dollar industry competitor. It allows you to set up your travel arrangements with the click of a mouse. One thing that I like about travel websites is their ability to keep things very simple. They still have an advertisement which shows fairs and destinations, but I don't feel like they are shoving it down my throat. I know what is available and there it is for me to browse. I like this about United Airlines. One particular thing I do not like is there colors. I don't feel like it is aggressive enough. I want the menu buttons to jump at me saying "click here." And they don't do this. Overall though it lived up to their industry expectation.

I like to take a look at their latest deals from time to time. Although the website looks very simple,the site is very easy and convenient for me to navigate any of the links which is what I really like about this website. I found the website www.ual.com to be very helpful and easy to navigate. You put your flight information in the appropriate boxes and are able to pull up detailed flight information. You can also search for cars and hotels, which can go hand in hand when booking a flight. The website provides you with all of the pricing, departure, and arrival information you need. The one problem I have with this website is that it contains too many graphics and is a little too busy for my taste; I wish it were a bit simpler in its layout.
United Airlines Online Reservation: The United Airlines online reservation and ticketing site is helpful when searching for flights on specific days and times. I really like how all of the available departing flights are listed on the left side of the page and all the returning flight options are listed on the right, so a traveler can easily arrange both legs of their flight without having to click different pages. Howeevr, I do not like the fact that you have to actually click on a specific flight before the price is displayed. I don't want to waste time clicking on every single flight option and wait for the pricing to appear. It would be much better to have the cost displayed upfront. Overall the site is OK but not as good as other airline sites that I have used.
