All the entertainment info you need: This site's great for finding just about anything, from entertainment to dining, and even wedding venues and event sites. The best part of the site is that it allows users to submit their ratings, reviews, and recommendations, as well as vote on "best of" ideas like pizza places, date nights, and nightlife. No matter what you're looking to do, you can find the best ideas here!
City Search City Guide Better than Yellow Pages: The CitySearch city guide site is like using the yellow pages to find restaurants, bars, and other resources in a given city. The nice thing about this site is that you can pinpoint specific restaurants such as delis or pizza and it will identify those types of restaurants within the city and even map it for you. The downside of this site is that some of the listings are not relevant or specific to the city. For instance the search for French restaurants brought up Betty Crocker recipes and an online food store. Not exactly what I want when I have a craving for crepes. Overall it is a somewhat helpful site as long as you are willing to sift through the advertisements to find what you are looking for.
How to spend your next evening, but only in USA: A good website which provides you with details about what to do in USA. I used it to locate various restaurants and sporting facilities. It worked very nice and gave me a large set of results in fact more than I expected. Also some of the results have ratings which is always good as it gives you some confidence in the place you are about to go to, whether it's a restaurant, hotel or sport venue.
The website design is also nice, very limited ads that do not disrupt the browsing experience.
The only thing I didn't like about this website is that it only seems to be for American cities and none of the European cities are covered.
