Amtrak Online Passenger Railroad Reservations: The Amtrak website is very easy to use to make online reservations for its passenger train travel, and much easier than purchasing tickets in person at the station or over the phone. Travelers simply enter the date and station location for departure and the site will display all of your time options. You can use your credit card to purchase a ticket and Amtrak will then mail the ticket directly to you. Although I like using this site, the downside is that there is no option to actually print a ticket online. This would be helpful when making last minute reservations. Overall this site makes train travel reservations and booking very easy.
