Good place to search, bad place to buy: Barnes and Noble have a great inventory of information on their website and this is a good place to research products. I rarely purchase from Barnes and Noble because of their prices, which are often much higher than their competitors, especially online competitors. It seems they refuse to bring their prices up to date and count on people to be ok paying more because it comes from them. I do like the scrolling graphic at the top of their main page, this is a good attention grabber. Far too much content on the main page. Information should be concise, with a few product highlights and categories tabs, which are at the top, should stay, other than that, it's way too busy. I'm not one to pay more than necessary for a product, but there must be enough people who are, to keep B\u0026N in business.
Great Site to Purchase Books and Other: This is a great site to buy books, magazines, music, toys, or other. The site is laid out and organized well, it is pretty easy to find what you are looking for. The B\u0026N book choices for the week are highlighted in a rolling banner which I really like. There are two negatives with this site, the first is is there is no option for a wish list, to save things to buy later. The second negative is no opportunity to purchase used books, that would be a great addition to this site. The review section provides some interesting perspective on current products, interesting to read.
