Great Resource!: Delta's website is an easy way to book airfares with a great company. You can book airfare, check flight statuses, contact customer service reps, inquire about shipping, and even more. They have easily accessible information about the current flight rules and what you can and cannot take on board. They also offer flight and traveling tips which were very helpful.
Delta air lines website gets the tumbs down from UK users.: The website design is simple. However the designer seems to be using a different screen resolution to me as I am finding the text a bit smaller than I would like.
The drop down menus at the top are good since they avoid too many links and clutter all over the website.
I like the "need help?" and "contact us" link at the top, as they are visible to the user. It's always nice to be able to contact a real human in case of a question.
What I didn't like is the fact that it didn't automatically recognize what country I was making the booking from, and even when I selected my country from the list of countries at the top it refused to be changed. I am using the chrome browser which might have been the reason for this, but nevertheless this is a problem in my view.
Also none of the default values were filled in automatically which means I have to click/type everything in myself.
The first and last stop for online air ticket booking: Using this site I came to know that booking tickets online was fun. Makes booking an airline ticket so easy. With just a few clicks from home I can plan my business trips. This is a very interactive site and pretty comprehensive. I got through very easily. I could get all the information I wanted on my fight reservation, check-in, check-out timings. Checking in is cool as I did it using my pda. And paying for the tickets online is so easy using my Skymiles credit card. I liked the traveling tips page. Having traveled often I still dint know quiet a few of them. I enjoyed this experience.
