Ripp Off! False advertising! Ive been a DH customer for about 3 years. Used to be very friendly and honest. Then they change there store around and higher new employees with no knowledge of product or bad attitude like they dont want you to bother them for information. I bought a light from them expecting to get what i see in the catalog instead i get home to find out that they sold me an old model and was not what was advertised. They were trying to get rid of old product before new ones. Not cool. Took it back went online found the same thing for cheaper, even after shipping, and got exactly what was advertised. Ok maybe this time was bad luck. So i look through their 2010 catalog which i grabbed from their store and mind you this is Febuary only two months into their new catalog. I see a lighting system i want to purchase. I go to the store and gather all the items that come with the lighting system go to the register and ask for the digilux bulb which is advertised in their catolog with a nextgen ballast. Wrongo! False advertisment! The bulbs aren't even in stores yet and here they are including them with a nextgen ballast light system. False advertisment! Fine give me the Hortilux bulb instead, not as good as a digilux or as expensive but still good. Nope instead they charge me a 40 dollar bulb upgrade. What upgrade?! I actually downgraded to hortilux instead of digilux and they charged me 40 more dollars for an inferioir bulb. Not just that but their manager says that the catalog prices are different than instore prices. So at the store it was 30 more bucks on top of my bulb downgrade. WHAT?! Why even have a cataog in your store if the prices dont match. Bad Bussinesss! I go in expecting to pay(before tax), 304.95. By the time the whole ordeal is over the price tag is now 374.95 (before tax) with a cheaper bulb. How does that work. Pretty bogus deal. Ipaid more for less. Hopoefully you get what you order and at the price advertised. Ridiculous!
