Great variety of um media I guess. Covers many different types of literature and you can read or write anything you want :) Within a few guidelines of course.

Easy and I think largest fan fiction site. You surely find some story's you liking. Good bookmarking, alerting and lot's of other options.

Fanfiction.net is, unquestionably, the best place to look for stories based upon your favorite media, or to practice writing without needing to introduce and characterize the main characters. I use this, in combination with Instapaper to save chapters of my favorite (basically professional) stories onto my iPod Touch, which I read about thrice daily. The "hidden gems" become as common as stones, and easily noticable with a few added search filters.

While it a good website there no mods to keep it in check. So a lot of bad fanfics are shown making good quality Fanfic hard to find. Good in Quantity bad in quality.

FanFiction.net: Fanfiction.net is easily the best site for young publishers who want to get started in the whole writing business, but of course, as millions of people publish their stories there are countless of little jewels just waiting to be read. Raging from Books to movies to anime and games, there a crossovers and many others. An ingenious site where you can safely unleash your imagination and finally satisfy your urge for good, amazing, simply astounding stories.
