I persoanlly think this site sucks for a seller, i've only been selling on the site for a week now and my account has been placed on hold over 5 times now for lack of buyer feedback, but here is the kicker, the seller leave buyer feedback until the buyer pays, and the buy has 21 days to do so. So your account could be placed on hold for 21days or more. the only way to get your account off hold is to mark the item as paid and shipped. but when you do that You have to pay the ioffer fees. SO YOUR PRETTY MUCH SCREWED EITHER WAY!
iOffer is Fun, Easy, Wonderful!: I’ve been using iOffer for over a year now, both as a buyer and a seller.
Like any other marketplace website, there’s authentic and fake items and members. As long as we’re careful
when we do our business, checking up on past transactions, history, feedback ratings, we’ll be fine. We just need to understand exactly what we’re getting into, including all the fine prints, including authentic vs. replica or high quailty style.
Shop smart and we’ll be fine on the site. There’s so many FREE features I don’t know what’s not to love. Free pictures, store, listings, highlight, bold features. Items stay in store and never expires until it’s sold. Sellers ONLY pay when something’s sold, and the fees are cheaper.
Throughout my time there, they’ve made a lot of big improvements to the site, including the speed and quality of the site. The community clubs are very informative, with many experienced and knowledgeable members who are very willing to help. When I did need some credit back, customer service did it within a few hours after I filed.
For selling, you have to do a little more self-promotion. They have tutorials to help you, along with the members. One of the best tool is uploading your items to Google Base, and you’ll get way more traffic to your store. To make your store work on iOffer, you’re going to have to put the work into it. You have to earn it.
I believe iOffer is one of the better, and growing alternative sites out there right now. Don’t take my word for it though. Take my advice and try it out for yourself. It’s been good to me and I’m sure it can be good to you too!
