L.L. Bean--Quality at a Price: L.L. Bean claims to have great values on what it sells on its site, whereas it might be true, I find $39.95 for a shirt a little out of my price range. Perhaps it's the quality that drives up the price a bit, as they advertise their high quality on their site and I have heard about by word of mouth. If you have the money, these are likely great buys compared to other high priced outlets. Besides apparel and outerwear, L.L. Bean sells furniture, products for the home, fishing gear, and hunting gear. The site also offers free delivery of gift cards ordered through its services plus some great information on parks, outdoor discovery schools, and photos of customers and outdoor heroes alike. With all that said, I find it a pretty decent site, although not very affordable.
