Embrace the niftiness: Sluggy Freelance has featured prominently on my daily dose of web fun since 1997. It is the ongoing tale of a gang of friends (Torg, Riff, Zoe and Gwynn), their pet homicidal bunny (Bun-Bun), alien (Aylee) and hyperactive ferret (Kiki). The story involves summoning demons, travelling to alternate dimensions and of course, exams, friendship, love, villains, and of course features at least one mad inventor and a couple of vampires.
Sluggy Freelance is an ongoing story rather than a "gag-a-day" one, so it is best to start reading from the beginning of the archives (or at the beginning of a new chapter at least) to avoid complete bewilderment.
