Twitter + Google Maps = Wild!: This site shows the power of mashups, in this case what happens when you take content produced around the world by Twitter users and combine it with Google's cool mapping system. I like it!

I can't look away...: Twittervision is practically hypnotic. It's a finger on the pulse of the twitter-using universe. It's an A+ project college web applications class. It's also... not much else.
Use it as a dynamic background: I leave Twittervision on when I'm not using my desktop. More than once I've noticed an interesting tweet and made a friend. It also looks really cool in 3D view and so makes for a neat screensaver. Check it out!
They have a free iPhone app too: Check out their free iPhone app on iTunes. Unlike the website, you can click on individual tweets to respond to them from the iPhone app. My biggest gripe with the website is that it doesn't refresh often enough and I sometimes see repeats...
The 3D view is really slick: Twittervision is pure eye candy. I like pointing non-Twitter users here to get a feel for what Twitter is all about in a fun way. It's not quite realtime and does repeat occasionally, but overall a pretty sweet mashup of Twitter and the world.
Slick!: Maybe I'm just a sucker for a slick UI, but I find twittervision to be very entertaining, a "slice of life" view of world-wide events. It's the 21st century's equivalent of the CNN news crawl.
