Through some creative internet searching I also discovered just how many people were getting scammed and/or having property stolen as a result of Uship and its illegally operating carriers or TSP’s (as Uship calls them).
The lack of the Federally mandated overhead on the part of the TSp's (for consumer protection and the public’s safety) allows fly-by-nighters to operate cheaper. There is NO recourse for the unsuspecting Shipper. It’s strictly a civil matter at the Shipper’s expense.
Lastly, court rulings find that a Shipper can be held liable for hiring an illegally operating Carrier. So……
UShip seeks out and attempts to delete and/or discredit any and all negative info found on the net, about their site. They delete all negative from their site and suspend carriers that bring about to much bad PR as a result of rip-offs etc….
There are very few legally operating carriers on UShip. Legal carriers cannot compete agaianst the illegally operating carriers when it comes to price, and all the other obstacles the law imposes on them ie driving non-stop as the illegals do etc….

uShip is nothing short of joke. illegal carriers of all sorts and uship takes no responsibility once they take their money. so if your items are stole, broken or lost. good luck getting anything resolved, oure scam artists.

Not sure if you were aware but the information is getting out there and there are too many reports about uship.
google: "uship illegal" & "uship scam" you will see the real uship and how people have been scammed. Look at these two providers. Over $200,000 in scams and that is two providers. There are thousands of illegal’s on @uship

Oh, BTW, uship knew about the scams and did NOTHING until they racked up huge profit from the scammed shippers. The Illegal companies do not pay uship, the people posting the shipments do so there is no incentive to remove a scammer since it generates income and uship does not refund the full deposit. I ask that you remove this article online since people are not aware of all the scams and illegal carriers on that site.
