Gary F. Patton uses Wordle to generate “word clouds” from text that I paste into the online software. Each 'Cloud' graphically displays all the words in the text giving greater prominence to those words that appear more frequently. For example, in an age when "words convey power" & I want to use mine well, I use Wordle to compare the key words in two different documents, e.g. a job posting to a prospective applicants resume, to see how closely the key words in each align. I then can re-craft my Profile or a client's Resume to better allign with the assignement description or the job requirements. I also use Wordle to highlight the key words and therefore, thoughts stressed in any piece that I or another write!
